Job Detials
Senior Oracle developer TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES • Computer Science Oriented graduate (Bachelor of Engineering, Science, Commerce or Computer Science) • Oracle / Visual Basic / SQL Programming Language is a must. • Unix, AIX Operating Systems is a must. • Preferred knowledge of Cobol programming and administration, Object Oriented, and Windows XP. • Awareness of Data communications concepts. • An understanding of other data communication and document processing technologies and systems and their integration with Computer Systems. • Good business awareness to complement the technical skills and customer service orientation. Preferred strong Banking background. • Very good command of English Language. Tasks: • Assists with the document of current systems operations in co-ordination with operations sections, this includes implementation of interviews and other data gathering techniques. • Participates in the analysis of current systems to identify areas for improvement / replacement under the IT Manager Development guidance. • Designs form and report to satisfy the development requirement. • Participates in the development of file structures and the preparation of system flow and procedures to ensure the proper control of operations. • Participates in identifying system security and control procedures. • Participates in testing system segments and recording test results and drafting reports to IT Manager Development • Documents result of system design and testing activities and ensure the up to date recording and filling of all development projects activities. • Participates in solving reports malfunctions as guided by his superiors. • Keeps a-breast on new trends in system development and IT programming. • Performs any other related duties as and when required.
